Zinnia Seed Benary's Giant Mix

Massive flowers on long strong stems make these one of the best Zinnia for cut flower growers. Colours are mixed from the Benary giant series include Benary's Giant Bright Pink, Carmine, Coral, Deep Red, Golden Yellow, Lilac, Lime, Orange, Purple, Salmon Rose, Scarlet, White and Wine.

Sow: Spring, summer

Spacing: 25cm in final growing position

Site: Full Sun

Growing: Germination: 5-10 days at 21 degrees. Direct sow or sow in cells or trays. Surface sow onto moist seed raising mix, cover lightly with up to 3mm of seed raising mix. Keep seed raising mix moist during germination. Water from underneath until seeds have sprouted. Plant out once risk of frost has passed.

Height: Approximately 100cm

Harvesting: Pick flowers when open and with a strong stem for best vase life. You can do the “wiggle” test to make sure the stem is stiff and not floppy.
