Large icy blue flowers, long strong stems and a strong scent make this one of most popular sweet peas to grow and use as a cut flower.

Sow: Spring, autumn
Spacing: 10-15cm in final growing position
Site: Full Sun
Growing: Soak seed in water for 4 hours prior to sowing. Sow in deep cells or 2 seeds in 1x 10cm pot. Sow into moist seed raising mix approximately 1cm deep, cover. Keep seed moist. Water from underneath until seeds have sprouted. Pinch out growing tip when 15cm high to encourage branching.
Germination: 7-14 days at 15-18 degrees.
Sweet Pea plants are frost hardy so can go into the ground 2-3 months before your last frost.
Height: Can easily reach 2m high and will need support.
Harvesting: Harvest when the first flower opens and the rest will open in the vase. Flowers and seeds are poisonous.
