A frilly large cosmos that has semi and fully double flowers in a stunning cranberry shade. A great cut flower when picked in cracking bud stage.
Acclimatise seedlings before planting out. Do not overfeed cosmos plants as this will encourage vigorous leafy growth instead of flowers.

Sow: Spring, summer
Spacing: 30cm in final growing position
Site: Full Sun
Growing: Germination: 7-14 days at 21 degrees. Direct sow or sow in cells or trays. Surface sow onto moist seed raising mix, cover lightly with up to 3mm of seed raising mix. Keep seed raising mix moist during germination. Water from underneath until seeds have sprouted. Plant out once risk of frost has passed. Pinching out the main growing tip will encourage the plant to grow into a fuller, bushy plant. Transplant at 15cm tall.
Height: Approximately 120cm
Harvesting: Pick flowers at cracking bud, before pollination for best vase life.
